“I met Nate at the Hamline Elite Meet after I won the 800m. He showed me some pictures of me crossing the finish line and I asked him to please send them to me because of how good the photography captured my race. Winning Hamline was always a huge goal of mine and with Nate’s pictures I can always see and remember my exact feeling the moment I crossed the line. After that race, Nate was super nice and supportive of me and made efforts to ensure that I got ahold of his picture of me and my team. I’ve used many of his photos for various things since such as posting on Instagram, printing and hanging photos up in my room, and many of them were hung up at my high school graduation party. I hope to see him photographing at the NCAA track & field meet in the future so he can continue to photograph me!”

“In sports where good pictures can be hard to take (nordic skiing, track and cross country), Nate does it with experienced ease. Nate takes incredible pictures no matter where he goes! He’s multitalented and willing to put in the work to make all athletes and subjects look their best. He’s also a great guy who’s very obviously knowledgeable and genuinely enjoys what he does! Every time Nate shows up to a meet or to take pictures people are excited to see him and very grateful after the fact (because he does such a great job it’s hard not to root for him). He understands what it’s like to be an athlete and puts in effort to enhance not only your sporting event but the pictures that come out of it! Seeing him race around track meets (very quickly I might add) with a giant camera for hours on end just to give athletes amazing shots of their sport is quite frankly just incredible.
